Edgar Cota Enduro, Desert & ADV Lessons at OAO24

$150.00

Edgar Cota has coached at our west coast event as part of the Sedlak Off-road School coaching team, and recently won the Baja 1000 Pro Moto Ironman class - riding non-stop on wild, rocky and sandy desert terrain for 38.5 hours straight, averaging 34 mph.

Who better to learn advanced enduro, desert-riding and ADV techniques?!  He will also be joining our Friday the 13th NIGHT RIDE!

During the daylight hours, Edgar will be holding four 3-hour sessions that vary in terrain and skill level:

Course Descriptions:

  • Woods Enduro | Friday 9/13 10am-1pm (skill level 3-5): These classes will focus on woods riding techniques, reinforcing proper technique performance and body position and tackling woods trails and obstacles like logs and rocks. As a group you’ll ride select woods trails, the OAO log park and rock gardens and Edgar will break down all the techniques he uses to navigate tricky terrain.

  • Desert Enduro | Friday 9/13 2-5pm and Saturday 9/14 10am-1pm (skill level 3-5): Looking to up your enduro skills? Have you wanted to ride in other parts of the country, but want to feel more prepared? Our event space has a range of terrain including rocky, sandy trails very similar to rough desert conditions. These classes will use these areas to focus on proper technique and body position for sand, endless rocks, soft spots, washouts and more.

  • Dual Sport / ADV Advanced Skills | Saturday 9/14 2-5pm (skill level 4-5): This course is for riders of heavier bikes, whether dual sport or ADV, who already have off-road experience and have taken fundamental off-road courses.
