ALL DETAILS

All specifics on lesson sign-ups, guided rides, activities, food options and other details will be addressed or linked to this event page. The following details may be subject to change.

Who can attend this event?  Ladies only, ages 18+ who have a ticket to the event. This is a Non-Spectated Event. Non Ticket-Holders are not allowed to stop by, visit, or stay and hang out for any portion of the event. Ticket-holders are the ONLY ones allowed to enter and remain on site, as per our insurance rules and agreements.

Do I need to have a motorcycle license to attend?  You don't need a license to attend the event, take a lesson or ride a basic dirt bike.

Do I need my own bike to attend?  Nope! Beginner classes with Dirt Bike Academy can be booked including the use of one of the trail bikes from their fleet. There are also bike rentals available from GPMX! If you are someone who just wants to come hang out, enjoy the fire, raffle, food and camaraderie, we welcome you! You can always come and go from the venue to do other local activities.

What kind of motorcycles can be ridden at this event? We have various riding options at this event. For new and novice riders, we recommend you take a lessons with one of the lesson providers’ bikes, or ride a smaller 4-stroke trail bike under 150cc. For woods/enduro riders, we recommend your trail or dirt bike has full dirt (knobby) tires and be a maximum of 350cc. East Coast woods trails are tight and can be rocky or slippery, so lower cc engines are ideal for this terrain. You are welcome to bring motocross bikes, knowing they’ll probably be more fun on the grass tracks, open areas and haul roads than on the tight woods trails, but it’s your prerogative to ride it, plenty of ladies do! If you’re joining one of the free dual sport / ADV outings, your bike must have on-road/off-road tires 70/30 or more aggressive, and be street-legal (plated, insured, registered and you must have an M endorsement on your drivers license). Lastly, you can also bring mini bikes or e-bikes, and please do because they’re so fun!! Contact Us with any other bike questions.

Will there be lessons?  Absolutely! Lessons are always an awesome way to spend time: improve skills, build confidence and meet new people. Lessons are available for different levels of rider, posted above. All lesson details and minimum gear requirements are described at their point of sale. Lessons carry their own fee, and we work with our lesson partners to offer special prices!

Why are lessons not included in the ticket price? This makes it easier for everyone needs to be able to choose their own training option(s) a la cart based on their own skill level and needs. If they were included, the ticket price would simply be higher. We negotiate special rates from our lesson partners knowing that attendees are also purchasing an event ticket. Together, we give ladies a one-stop weekend for learning, riding, having fun and connecting with other like-minded ladies.

What type of gear do I need to wear?  Dirt Bike helmets are required for all riders, AT ALL TIMES when riding, no exceptions. Beginners taking lessons on grass only should have: Dirt helmets, gloves, protective boots that cover the ankle, sturdy pants and long sleeves.  Anyone riding In the Woods must have: Full-face dirt helmets, goggles, gloves, knee pads or braces, upper body protection (some combination of back, elbow, shoulder, arm as you prefer) and off-road motorcycle boots. We recommend wearing as much protective gear as possible.

What if I don’t have my own gear? We recommend purchasing some from our sponsors Fox Racing, REV’IT or at Revzilla.com. Looking for recommendations? Ask the many members of our community in our Facebook Group!

What tire pressure should I run?  Tires must be in good shape and should have good tire pressure, recommended at 12-14psi. If you run tubes, please bring an extra front and rear for yourself.

Will there be mechanical support? Yes. Keep in mind those services are for minor adjustments and mishaps. It is your responsibility to bring a well-functioning, safe vehicle to ride. Do not bring a broken bike and expect our providers to get it running. Have your bike looked over by a mechanic a month before the event. That being said, we’ll do whatever we can on site to keep you rolling and having a good time! You should bring spare tubes, spark plugs and clutch or brake levers that fit your make/model bike - this is something you should always be prepared with!

What is the camping area like?  Camping is included with your ticket. We have a large field designated for parking and camping. It is mowed grass, clean and level! The ground is hard, level and suitable for large heavy vehicles like RVs. There is plenty of room. You can set up tents or camp out of vehicles and RVs. We ask those with generators to park at the western-most end of the camping field to keep quiet zones for those who prefer it. Individual fires are not permitted. A short walk away from the camping field is a common area with a tents, tables and seating, and a lovely bonfire area with giant boulders placed all around the fire. We generally keep the fire going until around 10pm or sometimes later. There are no hookups or potable water. RV’s must be self-contained. We provide plenty of porta-potties and hand-washing stations, and have them freshly serviced and restocked mid-event.

Can I come ride the property some other time?  Sorry, no. The property is privately owned and riding access is limited to our events exclusively.

What do I do with my garbage?  Please keep a trash bag at your camp site, take it with you when you go. Leave no trace.

What if I get to the area early, or am staying in the area after the event? We cannot have anyone on site aside from the dates and times posted, as per our land and insurance agreements. You will have to find another place to stay for other nights.

Will the event be cancelled in bad weather?  The event will be held rain or shine, no refunds.  So much work goes into these events that we have to be fully committed, and we hope you are too. Any aspect within the event could be subject to cancellation in extreme weather for the safety of the riders.

Will there be food? Yes! Details will be posted on this page as the event nears, and communicated via email to ticket-holders. You are always welcome to bring coolers and such to suit your own needs and preferences, and while we do provide some drinks from our sponsors, definitely be prepared to keep yourself hydrated - bring plenty of water.

What can I bring?  Bring everything you need for riding and camping including gear, extra gas, a battery pack for your phone, plenty of water, sunscreen, bath wipes, camp bedding, tent etc. Here is our standard recommended packing list.

Is alcohol allowed? You may bring alcoholic beverages, but drinking alcohol is NOT allowed until riding is done for the entire day. We have a zero tolerance policy for excessive drunkenness or even attempting to operate a motor vehicle while intoxicated at any level. Safety is our top priority.

What can’t I bring? No one without a ticket, no animals, no babies or kids, no weapons, no fireworks, no promotional or marketing materials, no banners or overwhelming visual items, no items for sale, no unsolicited giveaways, no illegal substances, no pollutants, no individual fires. No inflammatory signage, apparel and so on. We expect all attendees and participants to conduct themselves responsibly, with integrity and respectful behavior and to help ensure comfort and safety for all attendees. Our collective focus is on riding and having fun in an environment that is comfortable for all participants. Please leave any bad attitudes at home!

Will any men be there?  We do have male partners and staff including most of our Official Trail Support Team. They are there to help guide, manage property tasks and assist with emergency situations. Once riding is done for the day, they depart to their own area away from the ladies-only zones. Any men involved with our event are strictly for safety and technical assistance. We have a Guidelines for Male Participation document we review with all male participants, and we protect the female-only socializing and bonding aspect of this event strongly.

Can I hand out swag representing my brand, take photos for my brand or bring items for sale? Nope! We work our asses off to create this experience for our attendees with contributions from sponsors we value and trust, and who have graciously supported us for years. We want our attendees have a nice time without solicitation or distraction, and owe it to ourselves and our wonderful partners to keep the focus on the brands that stand behind us. Promotional photography is strictly prohibited, as is using our photography for promotion by brands or entities that are not official sponsors of Over And Out. If you’d like to speak to OAO about sponsorship opportunities, contact us!

Why has pricing gone up? Pricing for everything has gone up - Insurance, waste disposal, fuel, tent rentals (because of insurance), lumber, shipping…literally everything! We always aim to be communicative and transparent, so we’ll give you a specific example that our insurance requirements went up, tripling insurance costs. We produce some of the most welcoming and fun events for women in the country, and will always aim to give you above and beyond amazing value for your ticket expense.

What am I getting for my general admission registration/ticket price? Every event differs and we outline what’s included on each event page. Generally speaking, the GA ticket covers the base offering of the location, facilities and riding options that don’t require a trainer or guide, as well as activities, treats and giveaways courtesy of our sponsors and MORE! This includes but is not limited to: parking and camping space, riding space and marking/prepping terrain, facilities like porta-potties, hand-washing stations, and comfort structures like buildings, tents, seating; safety considerations like insurance, EMT/Ambulance, or safety response vehicles; swag and free foods or drinks, raffle, any meals that might be included, even free professional photography taken by our hired photographers and shared with attendees post-event.

I bought a ticket but now can’t come. Can I transfer the name of the ticket to a friend? You must contact us to do this at least 10 days prior to the event. Please use our contact form. Payment must be arranged directly between you and your third party.

What's the REFUND POLICY? Sorry, NO REFUNDS. WE ASK ONE THING OF YOU: At the time you purchase a ticket to one of our events, or book a lesson, be on board with the fact that if something comes up and you can’t attend that you will not get a refund. We work incredibly hard creating these opportunities for you to ride, and making these events some of the best, most enjoyable events around! Taking the time to address individual’s lives, choices, circumstances or other things beyond our control is just not something we are able to accommodate, within reason. Even in the case of injury. Your funds will go toward supporting our events so we can keep providing women with the spaces and resources to thrive in the sport.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Use our contact form. :)
