About the event: This event is for Ladies and Gents, ages 18+, of all riding levels. It will be held on the same property where we hold our annual Flagship Women’s event, and offers off-road riding for dirt bikes, with the recommended maximum of 350cc’s and full dirt tires. By day, you’ll ride thousands of private acres of meadows, marked wooded trails, rocky or sandy haul roads, take lessons or go on group rides! By night, enjoy the fire with some s’mores and good company, or win some epic gear in the raffle before camping under the stars!

All specifics on lesson sign-ups, guided rides, activities, food options and other details will be shared via our blog and linked to this event page, above. The following details may be subject to change, especially prior to registration opening.
Why are you opening OAO events up to men? We’re not opening all OAO events up to men. In the case of this event it’s at the invitation of the ladies! Hosting women’s events was never to intentionally exclude men, it was to give ladies the learning and riding options, and atmosphere we know will help them enjoy and excel at off-road riding. For many ladies, they’d also enjoy getting to share time with their fathers, brothers, husbands and other male companions at one of our events. This is actually one more way we’re helping more women get into the sport! For ladies who aren’t yet confident in going to an event alone or without a male companion, this will ideally get them comfortable enough to attend our September women’s event on their own!
Who can attend this event? Ladies only, ages 18+ who have a ticket to the event, as well as Male or other riders, ages 18+, invited by a female ticket-holder. NO SPECTATORS. Non Ticket-Holders are not allowed to stop by, visit, or stay and hang out for any portion of the event. Ticket-holders are the ONLY ones allowed to enter and remain on site, as per our insurance rules and agreements.
Do I need to have a motorcycle license to attend? You don't need a license to attend, take a lesson or ride an off-road-only dirt bike.
Do I need my own bike to attend? Generally, Yes, but the beginner classes with Dirt Bike Academy and Intermediate + lessons with GPMX offer the use of a class/loaner bike! Those bikes are all four-stroke trail bikes, ideal for new riders and fun for experienced riders alike.
What kind of motorcycles can be ridden at this event? For new and novice riders, we recommend you take a lesson with one of their bikes, or ride a smaller 4-stroke trail bike under 150cc. For woods riders, we recommend any trail or dirt bike that has full dirt (knobby) tires and we recommend a maximum of 350cc. East Coast woods trails are tight and nimble, lower cc engines are ideal for this terrain. You are welcome to bring motocross bikes, knowing they’ll probably be more fun on the grass tracks, open areas and haul roads than on the tight woods trails, but it’s your prerogative to ride it. All riders should intend to ride within marked boundaries, without excessively tearing up the property. Lastly, you can also bring mini bikes, and please do because we will have some mini games!!
Will there be guided dual sport rides at this event? Not at the moment. For now just the thousands of acres of off-road meadows, haul roads, woods and enduro trails! If you want to ride a dual sport on the property, you may. Just be aware that the woods are technical and slippery - not as ideal for a heavy dual sport with dual sport tires. If you want to ask more specific questions, contact us!
Will there be any lessons? Yes. These lessons carry their own fee, but we work with our lesson partners to offer special prices in conjunction with OAO event access. All lesson details and minimum gear requirements are described at their point of sale. Protective gear is not included.
Why are lessons not included in the ticket price? This makes it easier for everyone needs to be able to choose their own training option(s) a la cart based on their own skill level and needs. Also, if they were included, the ticket price would simply be higher, an unfair rate to people who own their own bikes and don’t need lessons. We negotiate special rates from our lesson partners knowing that attendees are also purchasing an event ticket.
What type of gear do I need to wear? Dirt Bike helmets are required AT ALL TIMES when riding. Beginners, on grass only: Dirt helmets, gloves, protective boots that cover the ankle. Anyone riding In the Woods: Full-face dirt helmets, goggles, gloves, knee pads or braces, upper body protection (some combination of back, elbow, shoulder, arm as you prefer) and off-road riding/motocross boots. We recommend wearing as much protective gear as possible to keep you safe.
What if I don’t have my own gear? We recommend purchasing some from our sponsors Fox, REV’IT, Bell Helmets or any of the above via Revzilla.com. Looking for recommendations? Ask the many members of our community in our Facebook Group!
What tire pressure should I run? Tires must be in good shape and should have good tire pressure, recommended at 12-14psi.
Will there be mechanical support? Yes. Keep in mind those services are for minor adjustments and mishaps. It is your responsibility to bring a well-functioning, safe vehicle to ride. Do not bring a broken bike and expect our providers to get it running. Have your bike looked over by a mechanic a month before the event. That being said, we’ll do whatever we can on site to keep you rolling and having a good time! You should bring spare tubes, spark plugs and clutch or brake levers that fit your make/model bike - this is something you should always be prepared with!
What is the camping area like? Camping is included with your ticket. We have a large field designated for parking and camping. It is mowed grass, clean and level! The ground is hard, level and suitable for large heavy vehicles. There is plenty of room. We ask those with overnight generators park furthest west, further away from the main cabin area. A short walk away from the camping field is a common area with a barn, tent, tables and seating, and a bonfire area. There are no hookups and no potable or running water. RV’s must be self-contained, and all drinking water brought in. There will be porta-potties, some marked for exclusive Male vs Female use, as well as hand-washing units. Potties and hand-washing units get freshly serviced mid-event!
Can I come ride the property some other time? Sorry, no. The property is privately owned and riding access is limited to our events. We make it a priority to not impact the quality of the land very much, we don’t trespass or create problems for the land-owners; You should do the same.
Can I ride anywhere I want? All riders should ride within marked trails and mapped boundaries. Everyone should ride with the intention of not excessively tearing up the property. The goal of this event is to keep everyone safe, have a great time, and to keep this property in ideal condition so we can continue to have events here.
What do I do with my garbage? Aside from a few trash cans in the common areas, you are responsible for your trash. Please keep a trash bag at your camp site, and take it with you when you go. Leave no trace, keep things clean.
What if I get to the area early, or am staying in the area after the event? We cannot have anyone on site aside from the dates and times stated. You will have to find another place to stay for other nights.
Will the event be cancelled in bad weather? The event will be held rain or shine, no refunds. So much work goes into these events that we have to be fully committed, and we hope you are too. Any aspect within the event could be subject to cancellation in extreme weather for the safety of the riders. If there is a storm or very hard rain we will ask riders to come in, for rider safety and to ensure condition of the land.
Will there be food? Yes! Rojo’s Food Truck will be onsite and will have vegetarian options. More details will be posted above as the event nears, and communicated via email to ticket-holders. People with special dietary needs are welcome to bring coolers to suit their own needs and preferences.
What can I bring? Bring everything you need for riding and camping including gear, extra gas, a battery pack for your phone, plenty of water, sunscreen, bath wipes, camp bedding, tent etc. Here is our standard recommended packing list.
Is alcohol allowed? You may bring alcoholic beverages, but drinking alcohol is NOT allowed until riding is done for the entire day. We have a zero tolerance policy for excessive drunkenness or even attempting to operate a motor vehicle while intoxicated at any level. Safety is our top priority.
What can’t I bring? No pets or animals, no one without a ticket, no weapons of any kind, no fireworks, no promotional or marketing materials, no banners or overwhelming visual items, no items for sale, no unsolicited giveaways, no illegal substances, no pollutants, no individual fires. No inflammatory (read: obnoxious, racist, crass) signage, apparel and so on. We expect all attendees and participants to conduct themselves responsibly, with integrity and respectful behavior and to help ensure comfort and safety for all attendees. Our collective focus is on riding and having fun in an environment that is comfortable for all participants. No bad attitudes!
Can I hand out swag representing my brand, take photos for my brand or bring items for sale? No. We curate the experience for our attendees with contributions from sponsors we value and trust. We’re also dedicated to not turning OAO into a “meat market” of goods, promotions and sales attempts. OAO is not a swap meet. We want our attendees have a nice time without solicitation or distraction. Promotional photography is strictly prohibited. If you’d like to speak to OAO about sponsorship opportunities, contact us.
I don’t like your rules or how you do things. Will you change any of that for me? We always take in the feedback from our attendees to help make our events better. Most people are not aware of the many details we need to consider, such as logistics, safety, sponsor and partner operations, land management, or what makes for a positive experience for the most attendees. Feel free to send us feedback just understand there may be many reasons why we do things a certain way.

I bought a ticket but now can’t come. Can I transfer the name of the ticket to a friend? You must contact us to do this at least 14 days prior to the event. Please use our contact form. Payment must be arranged directly between you and your third party.
