OAO Moto-X 2021 Event Recap
Moto-X 2021 was EPIC! We recap the best weekend of the summer.
This year’s Over And Out Moto-X was seriously next level! Our Moto-X event is held on a private farm in Stockton, NJ, where access to camping and riding a rad motocross track, woods loops and fields is exclusive to OAO events for women. It’s an incredible, rare opportunity for our female attendees to have access to an all-levels friendly motocross track in a magical setting with other like-minded riders!
The event energy, like all OAO events, is seriously off-the-charts positive thanks to all the great sponsors, partners, riders and ticket-holders who come together for the love of riding and having fun!
We were super fortunate to have Monster Energy athlete, and record-breaking phenomenon, Vicki Golden join us at OAOMX to ride, hang out and share some major moto wisdom with all of us!
Vicki got out on the track with all level of riders, and it was killer to watch her throw down with advanced riders, but also stop to give pointers and encouragement to newer riders alike. For anyone and everyone present, just listening to Vicki teach on the sidelines was a big moment. Everyone was captivated.
She shared valuable coaching tips in such a clear way, and we all watched it make a difference in how girls were riding, even if just boosting confidence because they were armed with valuable knowledge.
Major thanks to Fox Racing for sponsoring us from the very beginning, and bringing the good times to this event once again! On Friday evening of the event, ladies gathered together for a welcome party with an ice cream social and gear giveaway hosted by Fox!
As with all Over And Out events, we offer multiple riding options, and we were stoked to have the experts from Into The Woods leading guided dual sport rides that explored the local farm roads, trails, water crossings and more, with ice cream stops sponsored by REV’IT!
Marco from Into The Woods also led some adventure packing classes, sponsored by Mosko Moto, showing ladies the best gear and planning advice for their long-distance adventures to come!
We were also stoked to have GPMX Training return to lead amazing lessons for ladies at all levels. With all classes completely filled, GPMX ran their Dirty Girls intro-to-dirt class, teaching new and novice riders core riding techniques and giving them a full 6-hours of seat time!
GPMX also ran two motocross-focused classes, teaching girls the proper techniques for riding mx, like body position, turning, how to approach jumps and much more. Major thanks to Greg Pamart and Marika Pamart for their dedication to helping women learn skills and build confidence on two wheels!
It wasn’t all two wheels down on the farm! This year ladies shredded the skate ramp and took skateboarding lessons, hosted the incredible team from The Yard, a skate and apparel shop, indoor skate park and lesson crew with roots in the Philly skate scene that go back to the 80’s.
Ladies took lessons together, shredded the epic skate ramp and pump track, and we all had a great time watching them free skate during the Friday night welcome party!
The Motorgrrl crew was back again with their skills but also their infectious good time vibes!! Motorgrrl’s pop-up garage ran mini inspections on all riders bikes, teaching them how to check their own tire pressure, oil, chain, fuel and more to help make sure all bikes were in prime riding condition, and performing basic maintenance.
The Motorgrrl crew also hosted a hilarious round of Braappy Hour Trivia, with prize packs filled with great gifts from Motul, Motorgrrl and Over And Out!
Rider support is a major aspect of Over And Out Events, and we can’t thank Motorgrrl enough for helping us make sure all riders are prepared, safe and supported!
As always, raffle was a huge highlight of the weekend, with EPIC prizes contributed by Monster Energy, Fox Moto, REV’IT!, Revzilla, Mosko Moto, Bell Helmets, Scott Motorsports, and many many more!
We can’t forget Goat Yoga! This was an amazing time, with an incredible class led by Kate Lewis from Amethyst Yoga, and the crew from Totes Goats NJ. This was the perfect mid-day break where the class got to enjoy a centering, restorative stretch with the sun shining, the breeze flowing, plus the cute and comical company of the little goats!
And, of course, let’s not forget all the riding we did! Our ladies always come to ride, ride, ride and this event was no different, from the motocross track to the farm fields to woods loops, check out all the riding action that went down at Over And Out Moto-X 2021!
