Demo A Beta XTRAINER Or 200RR!
Attendees at Over And Out 2020 will have the opportunity to demo a Beta Motorcycles 2021 Xtrainer or 200RR! We are beyond stoked to have Beta as a sponsor. Earlier this year, we posted an interview with Beta president, Tim Pilj and included a lot of great information about the company and the bikes!
There is no advanced signup necessary! Read on for all the details.
HOW IT WORKS
Beta Demos will be operating from the same area as our onsite maintenance support, run by RyanCo Racing and Beta of PA.
We have set aside a window of roughly 4 hours on each day of Over And Out. See the schedule.
The demo ride allows you to take the bike out for a ride on a designated, marked course or trail that should take you no more than approximately 20 minutes.
All you have to do is pop over to the RyanCo area, sign some paperwork and take your ride. You may have to wait your turn, depending on who else is looking to demo a bike at the same time as you.
GUIDELINES
These bikes are perfect for many female riders thanks to their streamlined frame and lower stock seat height, but you should be comfortable and skilled enough to handle the height, weight and power of these full-size bikes.
If you are uncertain about whether this is for you, stop by and visit RyanCo. They’ll be happy to help decide.
You must be in full gear (helmets, goggles, jersey, pants, gloves and boots) to ride these demo bikes.
ABOUT THE BIKES
We are so stoked to have Beta on board as a sponsor! These bikes are sought after and in demand (seriously, most dealers have a wait list!), so we’re super lucky to have these to demo!
We posted a lot of great information about Beta and these bikes in this previous post, but check out below to see the published specs side-by-side.
BETA XTRAINER 300 VS. 200RR
Both of these bikes are known for being perfect, lightweight enduro bikes with streamlined styling and stellar handling. Dirt Bike Magazine pointed out clear differences in the sizing of these different models:
“The [200RR] frame is directly from the 125. It isn’t a 300RR frame, and it isn’t the frame from the Xtrainer. All of those frames are very similar; they have a steel backbone, linkage rear suspension and identical aluminum swingarms. They have slight differences in seat height and ground clearance. The 200 is actually larger than the Xtrainer and smaller than the 300, if only by a very small amount. “
